But last week, a doctor died from Lassa fever caught while saving a patient.
2. Set boundaries. It’s okay to say no to overworking. The work will always be here tomorrow.
3. Rest when you’re tired. Exhaustion helps no one, least of all you.
4. Do your best, know when it’s enough. You cannot finish every single task. That’s the nature of our work.
For many outside these walls, it was just a passing headline.
The difference is hard to ignore. It reminds us that our community often understands our sacrifices best.
So, let’s look out for each other. Please:
1. Protect yourself first. Never skip safety steps with a patient.
