Not long after we lost our first dog we bumped into Paul in London with his own dog. We got chatting & he gave some really comforting words, and showed genuine empathy, convincing us to get another. Never forgot his kindness. RIP ❤️ 🌈 @GMB @susannareid100

I like to think that the dogs of rainbow bridge, will be lining up to greet the wonderful Paul O’Grady today. Waiting to welcome a beautiful man who did so much good for their kind. I like to think he will be rolling around with dogs he lost, dogs he saved and dogs who simply heard of his kindness. Covered in fluff, smothered in kisses and loved, loved loved.

Thank you for making us laugh till we cried and for making a true difference this side.
You will be missed, never forgotten and always loved.

We wrote to him last year asking him to pass his gmail emails pertaining to the pandemic to new health secretary to aide the inquiry.

He never wrote back.

I couldn’t relate more to this. My dad too spent 3 weeks alone in hospital before dying of Covid. I am a forgiving person but @MattHancock’s self serving antics & disregard of the bereaved, makes it more difficult to move forward. @CovidJusticeUK
