كنت، وما زلت، وسأظل أؤمن أن إسرائيل ورم سرطاني يجب استئصاله.. هي شيء عابر وطارئ.. أو مؤقت.. هي بالضبط مثل نبتة غريبة جلبت من مكان بعيد لتُزرع في أرض مختلفة وطقس مختلف.. جلبوا لها أفضل أنواع الأسمدة الكيماوية.. وأفضل مهندسي الزراعة بالغرب.. ودعموها بأجود أنواع مياه الري مع أفضل وأحدث الأدوات الزراعية.. والنتيجة: نبتة ميتة.. أو في أفضل الأحوال مشوّهة ولا مستقبل لها.. و «الإسرائيلي» في داخل أعماقه يؤمن بهذا: الحرب ستأكله، واللا سلام سيأكله أكثر!
لهذا لا يزال الإسرائيلي يحتفظ بألبوم صوره الذي جلبه من «بولندا» وعنوانه القديم..
والآخر لم يبع شقته في «روسيا» حتى الآن!
والثالث ما يزال يحتفظ -في مكان آمن- بهويته القديمة للبلد الذي أتى منه.

إسرائيل: نبتة مشوّهة.. شبه ميّتة.
فلسطين: شجرة الزيتون.
وستظل هذه الشجرة قائمة على أرضها طالما أن هنالك عجوزا تشعل نار تنّورها لتطعم أولادها الخبز والمقاومة.
وطالما أن هنالك امرأة تقدم ثلاثة شهداء من أولادها وتنجب بدلا منهم سبعة.
وطالما أن هنالك كهلا طاعنا بالسن والحزن، ما يزال يحتفظ بمفتاح بيته القديم.
وطالما أن هنالك رجلا وامرأة يصرّان كل أسبوع أن يصليا الجمعة في المسجد الأقصى.

ستظل فلسطين الثابتة..
وستذهب إسرائيل الطارئة
