From Kazuo Ishiguro’s Nobel acceptance speech. Stories are about one person saying to another, This is the way it feels to me? Does it feel the same to you?
One thing that hasn't changed: my excitement for the 1st day of school. I'm ready to see faces & learn names & start this journey. Yes, I'll totally fail at some of the technology. I'll figure it out. But, I'm all in! @TMIEpiscopal Can't wait to see y'all on Thurs!! ❤️
A post was shared with me about how to include "Screen Time" in a student's grading. While I will not post a link I did get a screenshot to annotate. No matter what, this is exactly what NOT to do!! #techquity#digitalequity#culturalrelevance#remotelearning
If I'm teaching online and you're a student in my class, what advice do you have for me? What do I need to know? What do you need me to do? ✍️ I'm listening!
Just a reminder that teachers are not the enemy.
COVID-19 is the enemy.

You need to combat COVID19.
Stay home.
Wear a mask.
Social distance.
Thanks.

My recent mindshift about curric and LPs for next year.
Instead of: This is the way I've always (more or less) done it, so I need to figure out how to keep doing what I've always done in these new times,
I'm thinking: How can I adapt and create what's needed for these new times?
Tomorrow will be my husband's 5th 12 hour shift in a row. He's an RN in the ICU. This isn't the first time he's done this in the past several months.
Please wear a mask. Even better, stay home if you can. Thank you.
