Endow research scholarships, fellowships & chairs in India, create area studies pgms & travel funds, enable access to libraries/archives etc. + stop dissing humanities/social studies
Sad to know Penguin decided not to distribute Joe Sacco’s latest book in India. It’s on Muzaffarnagar Riots. Penguin said it had a wrong version of the Indian map.

@BlindGrlMusings The Kindle devices aren't accessible for me , I am a person with low vision. I prefer using the Kindle app on my tab. It's accessible and comfortable to use
I want to live a quiet life without any social media, but I remember I am disabled & I need Twitter to complain & raise issues about discrimination & inaccessibility. I understand the importance of social media advocacy but sometimes it's too exhausting.

@abhishekanicca I have been living Rheumatoid Arthritis for years & only when I lost my eye sight from it I was considered disabled. In India many chronic illnesses are not part of the disability discussion & policy.
