Which makes NC’s anti-carry legislation all the more fucked up - started as a set of racist laws, still today doing their job of oppressing peaceful protestors

In my state, it’s unlawful to carry a weapon in a protest. During the day, I march peacefully, and in the evening, I look after neighbors and local business owners — many of whom also marched.

Why take qualm with that?
