will never understand how the internet bullies every minor creative decision any female celebrity makes but we allowed this loser’s album to be called “swag 2” with the hit song “everything hallelujah”
Spanish pro footballer Borja Iglesias delivered a powerful message about homophobia in football, saying the real issue isn't being targeted with anti-gay slurs; it's that LGBTQ+ players still don't feel safe enough to be themselves.
Reflecting on the abuse he's received after painting his nails in support of LGBTQ+ inclusion during a 10 March interview with AS, Iglesias said the insults no longer carry the weight they once did.
"The first few times it affected me; I took it personally," Iglesias said. "After reflecting on it, I see things differently. Calling me a f*ggot, I don't consider that an insult. When a guy says that, I think I'd be happier being gay than being like him, with nothing better to do than insult people at the end of a match."
He added that what truly concerns him is the impact this hostility has on others: "What bothers me is that a gay person is afraid to come out because of these kinds of reactions. Not being able to be yourself and love who you want is unacceptable, which is why the fight against homophobia is essential and why I'm involved in it."
The Spanish international, who is part of Spain's 2026 World Cup squad, also reflected on football's deeply ingrained macho culture, saying it remains "sad" that openly gay male footballers are still virtually nonexistent at the highest level of the men's game.

"Anglian Water boss’s £1.3m salary top-up meets ‘furious’ response."
So what do you do with the failed former CEO of HS2?
Obvious, you make him CEO of Anglian Water and pay him £1.3 million, that's what.

This, coupled with Healey as chancellor seems to indicate that Burnham is going to continue Labour's efforts to socially cleanse Britain of the poor and disabled.
Absolutely hate that what I suspected at end of June has materialised
Burnham keeping McFadden as Secretary of State for DWP has to be the clearest signal to all the optimists that he's continuity dressed up as change
Full steam ahead for welfare "reform" (devastating cuts)
Burnham has bottled it.
This cabinet will never, ever, deliver the change needed to fix Britain’s structural rot. Talking left and appointing right is going to end in disaster.
The Green Party are the only game in town.
Wes Streeting has been made Defence Secretary.
In his released correspondence with Peter Mandelson, he said:
“Israel is committing war crimes before our eyes.”
Journalists should ask him:
1) Does he stand by that?
2) What legal obligations does the UK therefore have?
John Healey is the new chancellor. As Defence Secretary, he oversaw the British spy flights that flew over Gaza and supplied the intelligence to Israel as it massacred Palestinians
In Britain, being complicit in genocide doesn’t bring punishment, it brings promotion.
This half time show is fucking dystopian.
"We believe in love"
Meanwhile Infantino is on Trumps "Board of Peace" as they set up literal concentration camps in Gaza.
Fuck the USA and Fuck FIFA
People misunderstand Nazis and their lesson to us all. The point is not that they were the ultimate embodiment of evil, but rather that truly grotesque, demonic evil is real, it’s not just something out a fantasy book. Every now and then demons WILL spawn, and we must stop them.
At least one journalist is willing to tell the ugly truth about 'decent' Starmer, supposedly a 'good guy':
'He presented the party membership with 10 policy “pledges”, which included a hike in taxes for higher earners and taking “rail, mail, energy and water” into public ownership. He went on to abandon almost all of these pledges.
'It’s impossible to avoid the conclusion that in 2020, Starmer ran a leadership campaign that was deliberately dishonest. Needing to gain the support of Labour’s left-wing membership, he presented a pitch that was entirely at variance with the way he subsequently ran the party.
'This structural dishonesty helps to explain why Starmer went on to be held in such contempt not just by Labour Party members, but also by so many British voters.'
After they bombed 100 Venezuelans to death, after they caused the equivalent of 3 Great Depressions by sanctions, after they kidnapped the president, the CIA finally admits that there is no conclusive evidence to prove that the Venezuelan government ever committed election fraud.
It’s very craży that 70-80 year olds are generally seen as unemployable due to physical and mental decline BUT we're allowing them to run our ENTIRE country.
