New research by @YouthSportTrust shows that girls are crying out for changes to make sure school sport works for them.
🤔 35% say worrying about how they look is a barrier
🙋🏽♀️ 66% say they prefer girls-only school sport
👟 58% say they would like more PE kit options
Research shows that 53% of disabled teenage girls said they would take part in sport and exercise if there were more opportunities outside of school and at the Youth Sport Trust, we want to rewrite the statistics.
We're on a mission to ensure that no one, regardless of their background, abilities or demographic misses out on sport and physical activity.

Something quite iconic about Hassan wearing a religious head covering & being awarded a gold medal at the closing ceremony in a country who has banned their own athletes from wearing them. Power to you, you incredible human!
This girl!!! Couldn't have happened to anyone more deserving, humble and down to earth. It's been a privilege to observe your journey and I'm absolutely brimming with pride and inspiration ❤️🔥
