Though I don't listen to them as much as I did before, I genuinely wouldn't be here listening to Japanese rock if it weren't for them. They were one of the first bands I became interested over ten years ago.

SCANDAL have announced that they will end their activities on August 21, 2027.

After 20 years of music, tours, memories, and a legacy that reached fans in Japan and around the world, the band will begin their final journey with a 47-prefecture tour before their last live at Yokohama Arena.

To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of SCANDAL. Maybe I only know and like some of their songs. But still, SCANDAL is just like a part of me growing up liking anime and Japanese Pop Culture in general. If you ask me about Japanese bands, SCANDAL will definitely be up the ranks. Not to mention the fact that they're the one and only all female band with the same members until now in the entire world, made me gained a lot of respect towards them even more.

I'm starting to like and interested towards SCANDAL even more when all of their members switched their personalities into a more grown, mature woman. I really wish I could watch their solo live (overseas if possible), I still want to see their performance in Japanese music events like LuckyFes... It's such a shame that I'm already running out of time and won't be able to fulfill all of my hopes before my beloved favorite band disbanded. That's why when I heard the news for the first time, I really feel so emotional about it that made me want to cry.
