I’d like to point out a few things from the recent exposure of inappropriate and illegal behaviour in the music industry in terms of assault, grooming, rape and more.

Firstly this is NOT a new thing. Whether or not you are ‘just’ finding out this is something the industry...

And normalising it as just something that happens. The survivor should not be the one who lives with the consuquences, it should be the perpetrator.

By doing this and not even considering what you can do to help the situation isn’t good enough. Whether it be supporting charities, raising awareness or simply no longer listening to a band it is finally a true start to stop injustice...

Lying or they ‘deserved’ it for some wrong reason take research by the CPS, Open University and many others into account that it’s more than overly likely the truth.

And finally for now, it’s no longer good enough to just shrug this off and say it’s an industry issue...

It’s a double edged sword as although it’s damning and the sorrow is still present I can now also see the personal progression and recovery of something I didn’t think I could survive and for that I couldn’t be more proud.
