Say hello to our new studio site.
I've been meaning to redesign this for a while but the client work took priority.
Finally found some time to build it out over the past few weeks. Really fun to be able to give it some proper attention.
More in-depth case studies from 10 years working with 50+ startups & enterprises, plenty more to come.
The old site did the job, but it was the right time to elevate and evolve.
Looking forward to the next phase of makely 👇
Wrapping up a native app onboarding redesign this week for a Fintech client.
It’s been an interesting one because onboarding is rarely just about making the screens look better.
You’re dealing with trust, friction, information, permissions and how quickly someone understands what they’re actually getting.
Small changes in the journey can have a much bigger effect than another round of visual polish.
Really enjoyed working through this one! Looking forward to sharing more when I can.

Busy week ahead!
I’m wrapping up a fintech native app project, kicking off another piece of product work and have a few other things moving in the background.
Feels like I’ve got a nice mix of work at the moment. Lots around improving existing products and journeys rather than designing things from scratch.
Should be a good week 👌
The biggest shift I've noticed in building digital products right now:
We used to have constraints - shipping something was expensive and slow, so we only built what mattered. Cost did the prioritising for us.
Now the constraint has to come from us. Deciding what's worth building is the job.
We redesigned a customer journey that went on to deliver £11M in NPV over three years and reduce calls by around £5M a year.
The interesting part was that the goal wasn’t to make the experience look better. It was to stop customers needing to contact the business in the first place.
We looked at where people were getting stuck, what information was missing, and which parts of the journey were creating avoidable demand.
The resulting experience was preferred by 86% of customers, but the bigger impact was commercial.
It’s why I think product design is often undervalued when it gets reduced to screens and interfaces. The right change to a customer journey can affect conversion, cost, retention and revenue at the same time.
If you’re an early-stage founder looking at a product journey that isn’t performing as well as it should, DM me FLOW and I’ll send you more details.
