laura neal’s comments on eve being free to start a new life after losing the love of her life made me sick to my stomach. is she being daft or genuinely homophobic? jesus christ
laura neal you had one of the most iconic character in your hands!!! what the fuck were you thinking?
phoebe waller bridge would never. never.
#killingeve
what?? having a gay character?? and KILLING her in the end?? after allowing her to experience happiness for five minutes?? holy SHIT, laura neal, you’re a GENIUS. such a FRESH idea! i’ve never seen ANYTHING like this on TV before! no writer has EVER done this! congratulations! 😃
laura neal and the director saying they wanted a scream of relief from eve when villanelle died further proves they did not understand eve and villanelle AT ALL
Laura Neal describing the kiss as “piss kiss” and “unromantic” BABY HAVE YOU TAKEN YOU MEDS THAT WAS THE MOST ROMANTIC SHIT EVER THEY LITERALLY INHALED EACH OTHER. Shoot out to Sandra and Jodie for saying a really big fuck you to the script and giving us the BEST KISS EVER.
Did Laura Neal really not even think about how badly she wrote the ending for Villanelle when Jodie Comer herself was like that? The actress herself was left like that after filming. An entire fandom was devastated by this woman's writing. #KillingEve
Saying Eve coming out of the water marks Eve’s rebirth is another proof that Laura Neal DOESN’T UNDERSTAND her.
Eve’s rebirth WAS Villanelle.
Coming out of the water without her wasn’t the beginning of a new life, it was the ENDING of it. Her agonizing scream shows that.
In the entire history of Killing Eve barely any episode has gone lower than 6.8 - in season 4 btw - and not a single final episode has gone lower than 8.2 .. To reach a level of 3.7 in one day is truly a betrayal to what once was - and could've been - one of the greatest shows.
I just can't believe this happened to This show like i genuinely didn't think a botched and harmful queer narrative was something i had to worry about for killing eve
Queer characters aren’t & should never be treated as disposable. The writers of Killing Eve haven’t done anything remarkable, just add another marker to the tired BYG trope. LGBTQ audiences deserve better representation. We only move forward with truly reflective diverse stories.
I’m getting more upset and angry the more I think about Killing Eve. Like, how do you knowingly write an ending like that and expect viewers to resonate with it, especially queer fans who have held out hope for so long that we wouldn’t be let down this time??? It’s actually sick.
