i just keep going in circles

so i wrote it all out to see if seeing it visually would make me stop hearing it

Pity me!
Exposed to the sun in a minute; While in the wild at the back of my shades-on.
Standing still i see a shadow to follow my lead thereby to stand by me.
A rival i trust to count my steps, likely my moves matches; Way below my foot.
