@mychemateez Hi!!! I'm going to Korea for Hongjoong's debut too, so if you're looking for someone to hang out with, I'd be happy to join! 😆 I'm going alone, haha.
I’m honestly really overwhelmed right now and I don’t even know how to process everything.
Enhypen is the first group I ever stanned, so this is hitting me really hard. And maybe that’s why this feels so intense, like everything they built over the past 5 years is suddenly… fragile.
I’ve been reading posts and talking to people, and some of you are saying exactly what I’ve been feeling but didn’t know how to put into words.
The remaining members matter. They are enhypen. They are not “leftovers.”
And while Heeseung deserves all the respect and support, he didn’t build everything alone. He didn’t sing alone, he didn’t dance alone. The story of enhypen was always about seven people, not “Heeseung and his friends.”
And that’s why this situation hurts so much.
Because right now, it feels very uneven.
On one side, people are hyping Heeseung, supporting his solo, talking about his future.
And I get it. I’m happy for him too. I’ll support him.
But on the other side, it feels like the six members are being ignored, or worse, treated like they don’t matter as much. And that’s what really breaks my heart.
It almost feels like this situation is turning into really strong promotion for Heeseung’s solo, while enhypen are the ones taking the emotional hit and being left to deal with the consequences.
Even some of the bigger fanbases… I don’t see them pushing enhypen the same way right now. It feels like everything is focused on Heeseung, while the group is kind of… on pause or in the background.
And it’s not fair, because the ones who have to carry that are the six members who stayed.
At the same time, when I watched clips from the Australian festival, I saw something different.
They didn’t look defeated. They looked determined. Focused. Like they were fighting to keep enhypen alive.
Riki, Jay, Jake, Jungwon, Sunoo, Sunghoon… I don’t think they will give up easily. You can see the hunger in their eyes. And I trust that.
But the fandom right now feels so divided.
I can’t even scroll without seeing completely different narratives. I’m going to attach screenshots because the difference in sentiment is actually shocking.
It really, really hurts to see.
Enhypen’s music was never one person. None of their songs were sung or performed alone. It was always all seven. And yet now it feels like that’s being forgotten.
I also won’t lie, I’m anxious about what this means long-term.
especially voting..... Like mama awards where Heeseung’s and enhypen will be under the same catgory... and bigger fanbases acount not helping by not even promoting some postive tags for the six.
And that thought makes me feel like hopless was everything they built just going to be affected like this?
@mo_musica@taesoothe If a single blurred screenshot aimed at OUR fandom — something that has nothing to do with you — is enough to trigger you, then you seriously need to get your head checked. “Good vibes,” lol.
@taesoothe I’m honestly wondering if you’re even serious. The name is literally blurred out. No one used your faves’ “inhumane suffering” — this is just an example of how messed up Korean journalism and television can be on their own.
@luv2baseone I was on the plane flying to Seoul for the Zerobaseone concerts when the announcement about Heeseung came out. I’m honestly just destroyed hahaha.
