Hey @MBTA - our GLX train at Gilman square just blew right past us just now! Around 8:37 am. Not cool to put 4 mins on the board, have the train blow by, and then another 4 mins appear.
In the wake of recent floods, the Massachusetts Legislature “should act now, before the next disaster strikes,” write @fitzgerald_joan and @alihiple. https://t.co/lJVJsjIQzA
I think providing timely and accurate information should be part of the @MBTA‘s service delivery policy. Holding at North Station for five minutes while the door is continually open and close is not good service. #GreenLine
Hey @MBTA what’s up with the Medford/Tufts line?? Been waiting at park st for 18 mins without a train even showing on the board, except once briefly that then switched to north station. No alerts about this on your page or anywhere. Pls provide better info!!!
@MBTA@MBTA_CR If you're mad this plan doesn't use catenary, getting upset in the T's comments won't help. That energy is best reserved for the Legislature that funds the T.
On balance this is great move that allows the T to test this tech and electrify before the Lege gets their [] together.
We are SO thrilled to have acheived this win after decades of advocacy with the Fairmount Indigo Transit Coalition and the Fairmount Line community 🥳🙌😍
The Fairmount Line advocacy has come a long way thanks to powerful and resilient community advocates! Swipe through to learn about the inception of the advocacy, the wins we have had along the way, and what the future will look like with continued support for the Fairmount Line!
Hey @mbta - GLX started running express to Medford tufts without clear announcements (m not wearing headphones or any right at the moment) and a bunch of us needed to get off at east Somerville, Gilman, etc. thanks to the kind conductor who stopped at Magoun to let us off.
🚨CALL TO ACTION - DEADLINE: MAY 16🚨 Now is your chance to advocate for an almost $60M investment in the Fairmount Line in the MBTA's capital investment plan (CIP)!❗️Go to the link in our bio or https://t.co/qHDuGB61qg to send a letter in support of this investment 📧
Boston bus lanes & bus stops meant to make transit faster than driving and boarding seamless for riders are constantly blocked by cars.
Bus mounted cameras are tackling this in other cities, but remain outlawed here. The Legislature may soon change that. https://t.co/KVgbqzTeBR
using the Green Line as your Orange Line replacement doesn’t work if you don’t run more Green Line service—4 min headways out of North Station won’t cut it
And omg please stop switching to express trains!!! I just want to ride to Gilman Sq in one shot omg. Nearly the entire train got off at east Somerville, this is not helping anyone. @MBTA
Hey @mbta I don’t know if you’re aware but we need like 3x more trains on the Green Line specifically extension branches, I’ve had to wait 2-5 trains every day this week at Park St because every Medford/Tufts train is literally too full
