@sunnyblissjules @KayeSteinsapir I agree- as a principal, I try hard to make these as uneventful as I can while still giving our students the skills they need to be safe. We did skip our drill this last week because everyone is already scared enough.
@Lyricalswordz If all teachers do is write definitions on the board and get “half the year off” and “get paid well” maybe I should go back into the classroom?! I wonder why I have at least 1 teacher each day crying in my office if it is such a sweet gig- that guy is definitely TA!
@jerhende Pandemic brain doesn’t help- I got back into books by reading some things that didn’t require much brain power. One of the first was described as “frothy” on the cover- not much substance, but helped me slowly get back into reading when I couldn’t focus!

After watching Secretary of Education DeVos’s interviews yesterday - it once again reaffirms to me that her tenure cannot come to an end soon enough. Education simply deserves better.
@EssBee44 I did seeds mid-March, but cool temps had them coming in late. I planted lots of plants around May 1st. I have tons of zucchini and cucumbers and okra out the wazoo, but the Eggplant and tomatoes are just moving slow on ripening. The plants are huge and producing, but not ripe
