Paper by the recently graduated @alilchong on enhancing conductivity of solid protic ionic salts using acids or bases: https://t.co/SrcOb15Heb

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

Great to share my graduation day with my favourite group 👩‍🔬🎓😀 https://t.co/wEqzByxNMq

Wonderful to see Dr Alison Chong graduating. All the best for your new job in Sydney, Alison.

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@MarcusCherAu Yeah! You might have to come up to Sydney now though :)

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@MarcusCherAu 🤷 I guess I just don't know that much about science...

[Doug MacFarlane @DRMacFarlane]

Our @Faraday_D paper on the "4th Evolution of ILs" is online at https//tinyurl.com/yav9jevt #ionicliquuds

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

My thesis is all bound up! 📖🍾

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@sowmitweets @DRMacFarlane Thanks @sowmitweets :) Exciting times!

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@DRMacFarlane Thanks @DRMacFarlane!!

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

Thanks @BartKolodziejc for a great #mkw17 Stories from the Science Lab event! So much fun sharing research with awesome people! 😁

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@MarcusCherAu for when it's time to upcycle your wardrobe... https://t.co/nFRAC25kex

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@MarcusCherAu @minutephysics @BenKrasnow So much cookie baking potential 😮

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

Excited to be part of #mkw17 tomorrow & chat with some amazing scientists! https://t.co/UFqKwRcXZC

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@NievesLSalas Acid & base doesn't work - acid is insoluble. Trying combined salts tomorrow but I think extra ions will reduce efficacy 😃

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@Jaecheol_Choi How do you go with reductive stability of the PILs? I find mine are sometimes not so good...

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@Jaecheol_Choi Are there important features/ properties of certain ILs or is it more about having available ions in soln? #RSCPoster

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@Jaecheol_Choi Nice poster! Have you considered other ILs that might work in this system? #RSCPoster #RSCEnv

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@MikeTCook Interesting stuff. Have you looked at the surface structure? Does this impact the material's behaviour? #RSCPoster #RSCMat

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@Rashigusain Haven't tried standard methods for specific scenarios with this compound yet, ie. marine or pipelines #RSCPoster #RSCMat

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@Rashigusain All room temp so far, using immersion and polarisation methods developed in group #RSCPoster #RSCMat

[Alison Chong @alilchong]

@danwdavies I find comp studies so interesting 😮 What other types of descriptors can your model search for? #RSCPoster #RSCMat
