We have lost a giant in the history of our nation with the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
It is heartbreaking that in her final moments she was, as are many others, preoccupied with what would happen after her passing.
I want to make one thing clear: we can, and must, fight.
My report back to church from #GA224 will be a Malcolm X quote: “The most disrespected person in America is the black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America is the black woman.” The pcusa does not #trustblackwomen.
So far, I’ve voted every single vote in line with the YAADs (at least I believe so). I am angry. The YAADs are angry. Do not say you wonder where young people are in our pews & then ignore those of us who do show up. #GA224
We are all tired but you knows who’s really tired BLACK WOMEN AND GIRLS who are continually overlooked by society. Our church today had 2 Black women speak in favor of adding this language and we did not listen. We need to start listening. I can not rn. #GA224
