A mosque in South London is opening its doors to the wider community during this week's heatwave.
The Muslim Cultural & Welfare Association of Sutton (MCWAS) is inviting anyone in need of relief from the soaring temperatures - Muslim and non-Muslim alike - to make use of its air-conditioned facilities.
In a statement shared on social media, the mosque said:
"As temperatures rise, MCWAS is pleased to open our downstairs space as a cool, comfortable community area for anyone who may benefit from it.
If your home is difficult to keep cool, or if you simply need a quiet place to work, rest, or relax, please feel free to make use of our facilities. Everyone is warmly welcome."
The initiative offers residents a safe and comfortable place to escape the heat, highlighting the mosque's commitment to supporting the local community.
@Xxxxx28201398@salahudeen33 That's if the fly has landed in a drink.
"If a house fly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink) and take it out, for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease."
