@acnewsitics She isn’t seeking name recognition nor was she looking to make this her livelihood. Her original plan was to be a dental hygienist. She’s not a bigot and a lot of trans people understand and agree with her position on Title IV.
@EdKrassen Ed, the only person responsible is Jimmy. He was asked to apologize to the audience for lying and refused. The show has been declining in ratings since 2013 and losing money. He traded comedy for political lectures and turned off half the country. No more complicated than that.
@nicksortor I actually think a better punishment would be solitary confinement. No media. No social media. Just all of Charlie’s books, speeches, debates, interviews, everything, for the rest of his life.
@JeffClabault@karol@ClayTravis His book “American Playbook” explains it well. He doesn’t hide from it at all. A lot of people actually relate to the political evolution he experienced (Tulsi, for example). It’s hardly a gotcha question.
@karol Just like they used to have “no smoking” signs and designated places at the airport where people could smoke, they should do the same with this.
@CollinRugg The debate performance confirmed what a lot of people already suspected. To say otherwise feels very dishonest. She’s in a tough spot because if she admits she knew he wasn’t cognitively sound is to also admit she lied when asked about it right before the debate.
@michaelpleahy Clay Travis and Buck Sexton would like to have you on their show (the contact link on your website is broken so I’m reaching out here). Please email me if interested: [email protected]
@espiers The majority of the time it's safe, I agree - but when it's not, it's a terrifying experience. I used to commute super early for work and saw monsters all the time. A friend was assaulted by one and did address it with therapy, but she hasn't taken the subway since.
