Students at St. Joseph Integrated Secondary School in Nkhotakota District today participated in a day-long media training aimed at enhancing their writing and communication skills.

The training forms part of efforts to equip the students with basic journalism knowledge and

school said plans are underway to introduce a school newsletter to provide students with practical journalism experience and prepare them for future opportunities.

A significant chapter for Catholic media in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe closed today as Reverend Father Louis Chikanya officially handed over the directorship of Radio Alinafe to the new Acting Director, Father Francis Lekaleka.

Having led the station since 2018,

concluded with staff interactions and a memorial ceremony.

As Fr. Chikanya prepares for his new mission at the Cathedral of Riga in Latvia, he urged staff and listeners to continue supporting the station under its new leadership.
