A genuine question for my kapwa millenials, is "trentahin" trend a real thing, or some of us are just using this trend for us to feel socially relevant?

A common problem in many training programs:

Employees are often trained to "improve" their competencies, even though the real issues are systemic and structural within their organization.

An overly employee-centric approach, and inflated management ego leads to higher costs.

While employee-manager collaboration is vital, reasonable accomodations have constraints. Agility is key.

Temporary fixes like shopping won't suffice; we need sustainable solutions to truly grow and heal.

Who exploits these poor Badjaos?

The envelope itself suggests a systematic, insidious exploitation. Many of them are non-Tagalog speakers, making them easy prey. The influx during the "ber months" hints at a growing demand for their vulnerable labor.

The proposed nomenclature change from IO Psych to Work and Org Psych will also entail a lot of resources for promotion and education materials.

Wherein these resources can be of greater value for those with huge demands, such as workplace well-being, inequality, and security.

However, factors such as poverty and lack of opportunities may be one of the core reasons why they tend to compromise just to survive - to provide something to the table.

Known some workmates who compromise their values for survival. They tend to forget how being authentic to our core values tends to last than longetivity.

Longevity doesn't automatically guarantee trust and respect. It's your authenticity with your values that truly matters.
