What if we told you there’s a town in India where political banners don’t last more than 24 hours?
In Sulthan Bathery, cleanliness isn’t just a rule, it’s a way of life. From midnight clean-ups to strict fines and active citizens, this place is setting a benchmark most cities haven’t even thought of yet.
Watch this video to see how an entire town came together to make it happen and stayed consistent.

This video from Rajasthan captures artist Khata Nath playing Morchang, an Indian jaw harp that has echoed through history for over 1,500 years.
Made of iron or brass and shaped like a simple horseshoe, the instrument may be small, but its voice carries generations of folk memory.
Widely used in Rajasthani music and storytelling — and known as the Morsing in South India — the Morchang comes alive through his skill.
In his hands, it becomes more than music; it becomes a reminder that India’s cultural history survives not in books or museums, but in people who continue to carry it forward, one note at a time.

Harish Bali enjoys an authentic Odia lunch at Khiching, explores its iconic black stone carvings, and visits Babojola - one of the cleanest and most beautiful villages in Odisha.
I have been blessed by the love, affection and support of the people of #Odisha for the past more than 25 years. I am highly indebted to the people of Odisha and their love towards me and my late father Biju Patnaik.
Previously our family decided to donate its ancestral property ‘Anand Bhawan’ in Cuttack. In the same spirit, I would like to forgo the salary and allowances hiked for Leader of Opposition which the Odisha Legislative Assembly has recently passed. I would like to request Honorable CM Shri @MohanMOdisha ji to utilize the same for the welfare of poor people of our state.
Mangroves are living shields. They slow waves, reduce flooding, lock in carbon, and shelter marine life that feeds millions.
From the Sundarbans to Bhitarkanika, from Pichavaram to Coringa, they protect coastlines and communities every day.
A recent video shared by retired IFS officer Mohan Pargaien showed heavy rain and surging waves hitting mangroves head-on and stopping there.
Nature is doing its job.
Yet, even as climate risks grow, nearly 45,000 mangroves in Mumbai may be cut for a coastal road, with replanting promised elsewhere.
But mangroves are not movable infrastructure. They grow slowly, in exact coastal conditions, and protect the land where they stand.
Remove them, and the shield weakens.
Protecting mangroves is not anti-development. It is basic safety.
Because when the sea rises, concrete won’t stop it. Roots will.
