Time heals all wounds is a misnomer. Without addressing the root cause of the wound, time just creates more opportunities for the wounds to fester, injury to become cyclical, and the inflictor of pain to get worse.

Over the last 30 days, more than 10 inches of rain has fallen across a wide swath of the Plains and Mississippi Valley. Some areas of Kansas, Oklahoma, and southwest Missouri have seen over 20 inches of rain, which equates to 400-600% above normal. More rain is in the forecast.
Amazing event. So thankful for Mayor Bliss’ leadership on climate change. I was honored to speak on a panel discussing cities and universities leading on climate change.

Men—when you introduce your employee who's a woman and say, "She does all the work"/"runs things"/"keeps us all sane"/etc.:
1-You are not paying her enough.
2-You haven't given her the title or team she deserves.
3-Talking about her contributions doesn't make up for 1 and 2.
