@Doom_Goy The important context is that there were 3 fields (soccer and field hockey) that were busy with games from 9am - 4pm. People were using the park, but they weren't pay parking at Ambleside.
@MarksGonePublic@pnwkate@BlanchetteJen Pay parking is also affecting the North Van players & coaches of teams using the soccer, field hockey, tennis, and baseball facilities for home practices and weekly games. Regional visiting teams are also frustrated. Watch Park Royal start charging like other malls do.
@richardzussman Teachers across BC still loathe Christy Clark for her policies that underfunded public schools, weakened teacher bargaining rights, and pushed for standardized testing over meaningful learning. Her legacy continues to fuel frustration in the education sector. #45KstrongBCteachers
@V_Canuck@Devin_Heroux Adding - some antibiotics and antidepressants can give false positives for opiates. Covid will also indicate ineligibility. Elite athletes have to be so careful, especially given drug restrictions are continually being updated.
@AndreaG114 The Canadian and Russian women's Olympic hockey teams wore N95's, though Russia removed theirs in the 3rd period. (Canada won 6-1.) In another game against Russia, the Finnish team also wore masks. Covid test results were pending in both games. πͺπ»πππ₯
@perfectrose2011 YVR airport has a Read & Return Program where one can return a book (within 6 months) and receive a 50% refund. If other airports do this, it might explain a boarding pass - but a boarding pass from Vancouver feels more significant than chance. π
@Leeds_guy @DaveZ_uk This is The Chapel of Rest, in Brompton-by-Sawdon. The building itself is tiny - from what I remember, it's basically a room. @DaveZ_uk has captured a beautiful shot.

One of the most brilliant ads & ways to promote womenβs sports Iβve ever seen.
Even if you donβt like soccer, stay till the end.
They did an incredible job revealing biases that exist around men & women athletes. https://t.co/KL4rjBJB74
@melissacuisine @fklein907 I'm a teacher. One day I wore something a little more tailored/professional than usual and a little kid in my class asked, "Are you going to work after school?" ππ
