Couldn’t post to instagram. Think I’m gonna start using twitweird as a digital diary (when I remember it exists). This is how I’ve been recording music lately. I like to feel the sounds sit on my skin. (Actual technique)

@NE0XMUTANT You’ve been sleeping.

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

@wheresmywigggg Only one of you made a name for themselves by strifes of their own. You sit in reflection of others. Dialogue gotta change.

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

@mer___girl You don’t know how viscous the music industry is. Why everyone surprised by this. Y’all been sleeping. Least surprising news. Dialogue really gotta change.

Hey @Borisheavyrocks can you guys play the half time show next year

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

@AnnieisUndead The nails on my chalk board.

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

Is this real? And if so can someone shoot me? Truth is deep down I do believe this a little bit, but not in a positive way, but in a mournful way for all the experimenters and underrepresented artists actually doing something interesting and transcending time.

Benson Boone graces the cover of “Rolling Stone: Future Of Music”.

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

@AnnieisUndead True but many of these magazines/media spaces/platforms all promote variations of the same thing and I rant about it so much because we are long overdue for a shift. Like every time I see this shit, even though it’s very predictable, I’m still knocking my brains out over it.

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

Birds.

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

Like you’re meant to.

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

Also… I think people need to get over judging music in accordance with their image/presence and start judging with their minds, hearts, and ears.

An essay by an internet witch ✨

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

Halsey’s new record has some of the best writing I’ve seen for an album this year. I think people are unjustly offering up criticism to this album without looking at it as a whole. Just preconceived notions.

I said what I said.

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

Only reason why I say this is because I feel like lyrics in music get mundane because everyone is human and saying variations of a lot of the same things. Gotta give credit where it’s due, and this one hit different. I never claimed to be cvlt.

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

What albums absolutely ate this year?

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

@AnnieisUndead Giving Suspira font created by a kindergartner

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

When people finally unlearn the negative connotations of bitch, I believe my contribution to the world around me will be much more appreciated.

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

@AnnieisUndead I think about this album cover a lot

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

Happy birthday to my band mate, friend, and favorite comedian of all time ♥️ @TheLoserOf08

[Alison Getz @alisonthevvitch]

Hearing myself say my own name out loud sometimes is fucking crazy. Like am I that bitch? Fr?
