Former CityNews reporter Tina Yazdani has filed a $650,000 lawsuit against Rogers Communications, alleging she was fired over concerns about her reporting style and seeking damages and lost wages.
Rogers denies the allegations, says the claim has no merit, and maintains her dismissal followed repeated breaches of its journalism and social media standards.

@SeverianoNessus@TNTransparency I was wondering how many times seeing these videos would eventually cause people to say this seems like it’s taking years but, slowly but surely, even the biggest “freedom” activists are saying this
It’s hilarious that you assholes run around videotaping people in public to prove the point that you can. Big fucking deal. Just because you can do it doesn’t mean that people want to be on your videotape. But the second someone turns around and videotape you you get your panties all in a bunch fucking unbelievable.
Toronto Police Constable Parsa Hazeri, a 33 Division officer with approximately three years of service, has been charged by the SIU with multiple offences allegedly involving a female youth under the age of 16.
The charges include sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, child luring, transmitting sexually explicit material to a person under 16, breach of trust, and careless handling of a firearm.
Meanwhile, a Toronto Police Facebook post introducing Hazeri as a new constable now appears unavailable, displaying a message stating: “This photo is no longer available.”
TPS has stated Hazeri was suspended when the allegations first surfaced and has since been served notice of a suspension without pay while the Chief seeks his dismissal.
The allegations have not been proven in court.
What are your thoughts on the apparent removal of the post? Coincidence, routine housekeeping, or an attempt to distance the Service from the case?
@nypost You know I don’t even hate their banter, BUUUTT they clearly covered up murder committed by their pig friends and tried to put it in on an innocent women, so F them, hope they lose everything they have for that reason and that alone.
