why writing a novel takes so long
- before we start we have to scroll at least all of the internet
- snack breaks take from 10mins up to 10 years
- must edit a second er, nicer, version for your family to read
- when we finally start, sOMEONE INTERRUPTS
- now pause for self doubt
"Rafiki presents us with a love story that is full of laughter, sweet glances, and wonderfully picturesque rooftop conversations."

WHAT WRITERS CALL THEIR WORK
"this is my WIP" = it will never be done ever
"my novel" = i aim to win a literary award
"manuscript" = i'd like to be paid by then word like Dickens was ok
"my book" = look that's the aim lol
"my mess" = i love it but wow what is it
my creative process is so messy help. i haven't finished a flip screen article in ages and i just now finished my third complete first draft in about 2 weeks, i hadn't put any energy into a fic in ages and now i'm working through /four/ i need help
"After persistent examples of bisexual erasure in the media, simply hearing the word on screen in a positive context is a huge step forward."

@eIIwoods me first thing this morning: idk like i want to go but we'll see i guess, i'm tired and i /have/ been twice already i suppose...
me after already having the day from hell before it even reached 10:30: this is my self care and i WILL do it
maybe i've finally settled on a voice/tone for my mc. maybe the whole thing i've been using to put off doing the writing part is dwindling away. maybe i have to write the thing now.
but then watch me change my mind again by tomorrow and find another reason not to write the thing
