the “francesca’s had 3 seasons” argument is hilarious to me bc genuinely what’s your alternate solution. introduce john in ep 1 of her season, have him die in that same episode, have her mourn for one episode and then start her love story with his cousinnnn in ep 3?
This is one of my main points! John is essentially perfect for Fran on paper. Even she knows this which leads to her confusion at not feeling that big love for him. John's only flaw is that he's a man. fran cannot fall in love with this perfect man BECAUSE SHES A LESBIAN
@Mrr_Capone she hurt cait a lot for absolutely nothing in s1 that led to her s2 arc. about meaningless sorrys, i agree the show did a brilliant job at visual representations but say that to cait haters, who spent an entire year wanting her to be abused for not verbally apologising to vi.
this is exactly the issue with the fandom. they never hold jinx accountable for the things she did and never even regretted it but the same people wanted cait to be beaten and d!e as a form of redemption
Don't care. What jinx did to Caitlyn was one of the most vile things she has ever done. And no matter how many ways yall twist and turn your words what she did will never be justified... (Even thinking about that shower/dinner party scene still makes me sick..)
@Mrr_Capone i kinda disagree. she regretted, but not for what she did to cait or for klling her mom..she did it because she was apologetic to vi, NOT cait. also her and cait are so obviously foil characters and much of their actions/story revolved around vi, including this one.
@shoskatsu "villain die in the end or lose everything" omg you need to watch more shows and understand this thing called "morally grey characters". also throwing a bunch of words around doesn't make you sound morally superior btw
@shoskatsu exactly. it is not a result of her actions but jinx's and that's what the original post about, how the fandom doesn't hold her accountable for stuffs she did and how those affected her character's arc. but you bunch have to make everything about "caitlyn bad"
ultimately, it's just an effective way to keep her as a punching bag; her mistakes never have context, reason, complexity, or nuance. She's unfeeling and empty. And when she's wronged, she's nothing at all; she just so happens to be the recipient of some other poor baby's cruelty
there are people who still think that cait faced no consequences for her actions and the show tried to excuse them..arcane s2 i really wish you had a better audience
@shoskatsu we're not talking about the cast here tho. it's about the fandom. also wdym cait faced no consequences??she lost her mother, became something she was completely against and literally lost an eye in the end. also this just proved my point that most of you wanted her ded in the end
we need more sapphic sitcoms. like im talking sitcoms that center sapphics main character is sapphic ideally lesbian and like the whole plot isn’t them coming out or being bullied for being gay
someone on here will post blatant misinformation and it’ll get 30k likes while the posts correcting them won’t get any reach and it’s only cause y’all love drama and stirring shit up regardless of whether it’s true
