@huwstephens The Story of Welsh Art is showing again on BBC4. An illustrated book of the series would have been great, but i am writing down the locations so I can visit some day
@craiguito Have you heard 'Welcome to the Neighbourhood' podcast by @jaydeadams On BBC Sounds, she presents some brilliant examples from around the UK, very funny.
@glabsandra I was presenting at our company's user group. I was handed some paperwork by a customer with a request to fax it for him (twas the 80s). Loved seeing his face when I took to the podium. To be fair to him, my skirt was the same colour as the hotel tablecloths :-)
@mrchrisaddison I have a Canon and I loathe it. But I can't go back to HP because I smashed one up with a hammer in my garage one evening, and I think it might have let its kindred know. Actually, I love my Canon, honest ๐ฌ
@sarajcox Friend of mine got her head stuck in the gate on her drive. The fire brigade released her and a kindly neighbour gave her a jelly tot. She got it stuck up her nose and had to go to the doctor to have it removed. Makes me laugh out loud 45 years later.
@thestrayferret@Harrogatebc That's bonkers, the RMT members will GO to work to show respect, much more appropriate. Cancelling work on behalf of the community, I don't think she'd be impressed.
@JozNorris I was one of many people who tried to escape before a certain band came back for an encore, and we all stood sniggering in a stairwell for 15 minutes rather than go back in.
