@king_of_bob @HedyLamarr228 The indigenous, any minorities, the mentally ill , the poor. It’s par for the course for our government. It was a testament to the lack of autonomy one has over one’s own body , here and now and how not much has changed.

@king_of_bob @HedyLamarr228 You’re exactly right. It’s not shocking though is it? This country has been doing this for decades to one group or another. The post was not misandrist. Women of ‘undesirable’ groups have been historically subjected to this on our soil.

@Ydennekde @ScottAdamsSays I don’t remember. I haven’t looked in a while. To me, it’s just common sense and health hygiene for now bc we don’t know what we don’t know. I don’t expect to be 100% protected by masks. It’s abt lowering when & how we can rn. And soap.

@Ydennekde @ScottAdamsSays I think they are still gathering data. I know one that died , one hospitalized, several sick with variable range of sx. I don’t know thousands of ppl. I do think that most ppl that ultimately get it won’t even know it. That’s just a deduction.

@Ydennekde @ScottAdamsSays It does appear to be spread by aerosol droplets. That happens when you and I talk. They are small. Sometimes we can see them, in the sun ( like how you can see dust). That’s how most respiratory illnesses are spread. Masks contain the droplets.

@Ydennekde @ScottAdamsSays My husband and I had this convo actually early on. It’s likely because in part the last SARS & MERS were contained, this isn’t. Although MERS was far more deadly, IDK why this hasn’t been a priority. Obviously they knew it was possible.

@Ydennekde @ScottAdamsSays The whole response and lack of transparency was part of how we got here. We shouldn’t fault ppl who didn’t know what they didn’t know. We should though wonder why preventive measures were not taken immediately all around to protect ppl & economy.

@Ydennekde @ScottAdamsSays You mentioned super flu- that in & of itself is pretty frightening. Influenza is bad. And for us ppl, anything novel is not good news. It’s how it kills us when we get it. Our bodies overreact. It’s a flaw in the design I guess.

@Ydennekde @ScottAdamsSays So far, with what little data is out, it may be comp.that in the end. I don’t know. W/ the info it’s looking worse right now. It’s totally dependent on people’s responses too, and most ppl are following guidelines. We are double the toll 4 H3N2 almost here.
