@FitzTheReporter In 2013 I was hit by a car while riding and sexually harassed on my bike in 2016. Still, I bike for my mental/ physical health, the environment, and my wallet. I try to avoid getting agitated, but will sometimes have major anxiety/panic/angry tears following each near-miss.

@FitzTheReporter Personal safety is an issue. I 🚲 commute from Northwest Berkeley to SOMA everyday, riding ~6 mi. to West Oakland BART via bike blvds, and still have near-misses with drivers almost 1/day. Have been called “a b*tch” that needs to “get on the sidewalk.”
