Abu Dardaa said:
“If it were not for three things I wish not to remain in the Dunya:
1. Placing my face down in prostration to my creator across the alternation of the day and the night, preparing for the [true] life to come.
2. Experiencing thirst during the hottest part of the day [due to fasting].
3. And Sitting with a people who select and choose their words [i.e. are careful with their speech] the way fruit is selected.”

Shāfiʿī Advice for Women during Eid
Imām ash-Shāfiʿī said :
I like that when women attend Eid prayers and congregational prayers, they attend clean with water, without wearing perfume, without wearing conspicuous clothing or adornments.
They should wear simple clothes [i.e., a single color], whether white or another color. I dislike for them to wear dyed [i.e., colored or decorated] clothes as they resemble adornment and conspicuousness.
كتاب الأم (1/241)
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) never proceeded (for the prayer) on the Day of Eid al-Fitr unless he had eaten some dates.
Anas also narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to eat odd number of dates.

Once the prayer is over, disperse throughout the land and seek the bounty of Allah. And remember Allah often so you may be successful.

Mu'ād ibn Jabal رضي الله عنه narrated that he asked: "O Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, advise me."
To which the Prophet ﷺ replied:
Have taqwah of Allāh as much as you are able.
Recall the dhikr of Allāh at every stone and tree [i.e. frequently and in abundance].
Offer tawbah for whatever offence you have caused - secretly for (what's done in) secret, publicly for (what's done in) public.

(O Allah! You are Most Forgiving, and you love to forgive. So forgive me)
Ibn Rajab said:
"Al-'Afuww is from the Names of Allah, He is the one who pardons the sins of His servants, wiping out its traces. He loves al-'Afuww, He loves pardoning His servants often and He loves that His servants pardon one another. For if His servants pardon one another, He will treat them with His 'Afuww; His pardoning often is more beloved to Him than His Punishment."
