My dad receives a monthly pension of ₦139,000 from the Federal Government.
He retired from NITEL around 1989/90.
At some point, his pension benefits weren't paid. Late President Buhari's admin stepped in to back pay over 42 months of the arrears.
Following that, the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration cleared the remaining outstanding balance.
Today, the Federal Government is actively working to adjust pension benefits in line with the new national minimum wage.
Pensioners are definitely going to be happy @officialABAT
The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) headquarters in Abuja, known as “The Barrel.”
The Barrel is a 10-storey building with the capacity to accommodate approximately 900–1,000 people. It is designed in the likeness of a convex, curved cylinder that bulges outward at its centre.

Atiku wants petrol subsidy back.
Let's say N400 per litre
Market price is about N1,300. That is a N900 gap.
NMDPRA puts consumption at roughly 50 million litres a day.
50m x N900 = N45 billion. Per day.
N1.37 trillion a month.
N16.4 trillion a year.
Now hold that against what Oyedele announced this week. N15.8 trillion mobilised for the Federation across 31 months of subsidy removal.
Everything the country has gotten since June 2023 would be gone in 11 and a half months.
Not the first term. The first year.
And that assumes demand stays at 50 million litres, which it will not. At N400 with Cotonou and Maradi still at market price, the trucks find the border sharp.😉
Budget for 65 million litres and you are at N21 trillion.
This also means taking 2/3 of the current governors allocation. Governors go gree keh?😄
Restoring subsidy at N400 means the Federation writing an actual cheque to a private refiner for the N900 difference. Roughly N45 billion a day. N1.37 trillion a month. (Because NNPC is not doing DSDP again)
We have run this film before in the power sector. It was called NBET, and the arrears are still on somebody's balance sheet.
What would you do with N16.4 trillion a year instead?
Abeg no insults me oo, I be Elderstateman for my village. Toh🙄
I created an AI Smart Glass to help blind people walk without a cane or a guide 👓
But this is not like the smart glasses people are used to seeing
Because this Glass combines AI, sensors, and GPS to help the user detect things in front of them, avoid obstacles, and know their location
But the most amazing thing is if the user gets lost, the GPS tracking system can help locate where they are from anywhere, and then send the location to the phone of the person taking care of them via WhatsApp or Email 📲
And now I am further developing it to a new level of AI + Voice, so it can speak with the user and also help them understand their surroundings
I have put the video showing how it works completely in the comment. 🎥

Let the world see what a young Nigerian can build

Implemented over four thousand three hundred and sixty-six (4,366) projects and programs within four years as Minister of Digital Economy. That is an average of about three projects every day and all of this while still being a regular preacher. Gombe is in safe hands 👏🏽
In the next 6 months, Abuja people will be able to link Lugbe from Nile University.
Construction of Collector Road CO1 from the Nile University area to Ring Road III (Lugbe) is now going on.
FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, was at the site to inspect the project, which was flagged off last month.
Not a single day has passed without missing your presence, your guidance, your prayers and the values you instilled in us. While the world remembers you as a statesman and leader, we remember you as a loving father whose humility, discipline and faith shaped our lives. May Allah (SWT) continue to have mercy on your soul, Baba. Ameen.
Abia State will receive the revenues from this deal.
VAT and company income tax will flow from Zamfara to Abia and other states.
See why FAAC is an ineffective piece of legislation?
What business does Abia have with a lithium mine in Zamfara?
Similarly, what business does Zamfara have with oil in Abia?
We have begun clearing the illegal shanties and market stalls built along the median of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
As we rebuild the Lagos-Badagry Expressway into a modern 10-lane highway, we cannot allow its median to become a market, a settlement or a site for illegal structures.
There is absolutely no reason for anyone to trade, build makeshift shops or live on the median of a major highway. It is unsafe, illegal and unacceptable.
We often compare Lagos with some of the world’s leading cities and ask why we cannot be like them. The truth is that those cities work because people respect public infrastructure and obey the rules. We cannot expect a world-class city while refusing to show the discipline needed to keep one. Dumping waste indiscriminately or building illegal structures along our highways will not move us forward.
If we want a cleaner, safer and more organised Lagos, discipline and personal responsibility must become part of our everyday culture. That is how we build a city we can all be proud of.
