Prime Minister @CMShehbaz, the family of Muhammad Hammad Obaida, a Pakistani Third Engineer missing from oil tanker MT El Gaia off Oman, desperately awaits news of their loved one.

His brother appeals to you to personally intervene and mobilise Pakistan’s diplomatic authorities to obtain information about Hammad and help the family learn of his whereabouts.

Please help bring an end to this family’s agonising uncertainty.

آبنائے ہرمز میں پروجیکٹائل حملے کا شکار بحری جہاز کے دو لاپتا ارکان کی تلاش جاری ہے۔

لاپتا افراد میں پاکستانی انجینئر حماد عبیدہ اور ایک بھارتی سی فئیرر شامل ہیں۔

13 ستمبر کو پاناما کے پرچم بردار آئل ٹینکر MT EL GAIA پر پروجیکٹائل حملہ کیا گیا تھا۔

حملہ مسندم سے تقریباً 103 ناٹیکل میل شمال مشرق میں ہوا، پروجیکٹائل جہاز کے انجن روم سے ٹکرایا۔

حملے کے بعد عمانی فورسز نے عملے کے 23 ارکان کو بحفاظت ریسکیو کیا۔

بعد ازاں بحری جہاز کو عمانی بندرگاہ منتقل کر دیا گیا۔

عملے کے مطابق حملے کے بعد جہاز کا بوائلر بھی پھٹ گیا اور شدید آگ کے باعث لاپتا ارکان تک پہنچنے کی کوشش ناکام رہی۔

At the BRICS Summit in Delhi, the safety of those who keep global trade moving was rightly highlighted.
On 13 September, the Panama-flagged tanker MT EL GAIA was attacked off the Oman coast.
Oiler Sumit Kumar Singh a young seafarer of age 35Yrs, one of 14 Indian crew, remains missing. Thirteen were rescued. Two days have passed with no sign of him.

Importantly, MT EL GAIA does not appear on the US OFAC SDN list, nor on EU, UN or UK sanctions lists.
So who hit this commercial vessel carrying ordinary seafarers?
Behind every seafarer is a family waiting and hoping. Their quiet courage and the risks they face must never be treated as secondary.
