@talaahRA I've seen a lot of artists and VAs speak up about their voices being for AI. It's a really concerning issue. I feel that there should be more laws or protections for them.

I just heard from a professor at a university of about 6500 undergraduates that generative AI was accessed on the university network over 100,000 times per day (!) this semester.

Colleges have barely begun to grapple with the impact AI is already having on higher education.

@jooeunmiinRU Hi Jooeun! From what I've seen, I think a lot of people are approaching it similarly. AI is becoming unavoidable, so people are trying to integrate it in a way that is more helpful than destructive.

@AriannaBelgrave This is interesting! I think AI could be useful to teach kids but we need to make sure they don't grow up depending on AI to help them with everything.

@taskeddie The way AI is used in an educational setting definitely does need to be transparent. These are great ways to address AI use. Setting policies and expectations is especially important. I see this being used often already, and it seems to be helping.
