As I have mentioned before, I strongly believe every NIL agency / NFL representation firm would benefit from having an experienced evaluator as part of their operation.

At the end of the day, player evaluation drives everything. The ability to accurately identify talent, project future development, assess positional value, and understand how a player fits at the next level can provide a significant advantage in an increasingly competitive landscape.

From a scouting perspective, an experienced evaluator can help agents and agencies:

• Identify undervalued prospects before the rest of the market catches up

• Provide honest assessments of a player’s strengths, weaknesses, and developmental ceiling

• Help determine realistic NFL, CFL, UFL, and professional opportunities

• Evaluate transfer portal prospects and NIL targets through a football lens

• Assist with roster construction and talent acquisition strategies

• Identify traits, athletic profiles, and production indicators that translate to professional success

• Provide objective football evaluations that complement the business side of representation

The best agencies are not only representing talent, they are identifying talent. Having someone with a strong scouting background on staff can help agencies make more informed decisions, uncover hidden opportunities, and better position their clients for long-term success.

Having spent years evaluating players and building relationships throughout the football industry, I have seen firsthand the value that quality scouting and objective evaluations bring to the decision-making process.
