It seems he left a lot on the table at this World Cup.

- Denmark to the final in return for Greenland?
- Russia to have qualified in exchange for peace in Ukraine?
- A quarter final place to Iran for opening Hormuz?
- Switzerland Red card overturned for free Toblerone?

Obviously The Falklands aren’t for sale but he should have at least tried to make a deal.

Of course @fifa would sit in the middle as an independent politically neutral non profit arbitrator and get a share of the spoils.

Only achieving one deal to overturn a red card seems underwhelming.
