Unable to move, he spent two days trapped inside the car beside her body until Ukrainian soldiers found him during a rotation in Kharkiv region.

This concerns the transportation of carcasses of cattle infected with anthrax to burial grounds in the occupied region.

In total, there are about fifty such facilities here, of which about ten pose the greatest threat, in particular, burial grounds located near the settlements of Askania-Nova, Skadovsk, and Zalizny Port.

▪️The Russians dispose of infected animals without observing any sanitary standards. Cattle carcasses are not burned, but simply buried. Many facilities are in an extremely neglected condition near roads and settlements - the distance of individual facilities to residential buildings is less than 1 kilometer.

▪️Some of the facilities are located in areas with high groundwater levels, which further increases the risks of the spread of the anthrax pathogen, which can remain viable in the soil for several dozen to a hundred years.

A Russian drone strike on the home of a large family killed 12-year-old Yevhen Shynko, his dad Oleksandr, and his grandmother, 73-year-old Zinaida Hadalova, in the Znob-Novhorodske hromada of Sumy region on June 22.

Alina Makukha was awakened by the sound of the drone just minutes before the explosion and managed to pull two of her younger kids - 12-year-old Oleksandra and 10-year-old Maksym - from the rubble. But she was unable to reach her husband and eldest son because of the rapidly spreading fire.

Oleksandra is in serious condition. The girl remains hospitalized with burns covering about 40% of her body. Her younger brother Maksym suffered an injury to his leg.

According to him, it was a nine-story building. The occupier adds that “he had no choice” and that
