@AlphaISMRadio@jav1ts@jchensor also.. "tifa's fight is far from over - we hope you look forward to what's coming next" - what are the chances Capcom are developing a FF fighting game and Tifa in SF6 is a preview of these mechanics - much like Luke was in SFV?
oh no, another yeah gone by and I've nearly forgotten to tweet again, here's a stupid game I made 6 months ago - happy holidays - phew, see you next year I guess

@oneofmoo I watch this video about once a month, I feel guilty, I cannot justify it, I guess the truth is I'm morbidly drawn to the absolute brutality of his response, the intake of breath, adjustment to his wrist watch, and then the look on the other guy's faces, it's a beautiful disaster
@alexanderameye Got it working this evening, thanks for your help! - I'm torn, when the grip is high the steering looks very realistic, however it's hard to create a slidey car that carries sideways momentum that remains twitchy - as the low grip also reduces steering sensitivity...
@alexanderameye I still turn the car by rotating it similarly to you, so I will change the anti-slide force to be per tyre and local velocity and report back - my brain struggles to see how it works but I just watched the video and I won't argue :)
@alexanderameye So what you describe is close to what I am doing but I check the velocity for the front and rear of the car (only) and provide a counter force, (instead of doing it per wheel & local velocity), it leads to unrealistic steering at low speeds (gif doesnt do a great demo)
@alexanderameye Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this, this is an interesting way of tackling the problem! - I'm still trying to understand why this works :) does each individual wheel resist sideways movement?
@jchensor Nice ideas James, very little has been spoken about SF6’s built in tournaments, if they support SFV’s online team battle tournaments (which barely anyone touched) then some of that “group ranked” gameplay your describing should emerge there too.
@laura_laker @NationalHways Hey Laura - this looks so good, any tips on where to find the start / end of this route? I used to ride around Polegate a lot and it would be nice to mix it up and find a different way back towards Lewes etc
@HyperComboRiot@TheCartelDel During this era I couldn't get enough of namco, their soundtracks, the artwork, their CGI intros - I just ate it all up - all of it, pour it into my eyes.
