⭕️ Israeli officials are increasingly acknowledging there is no clear military solution to Hezbollah’s expanding drone threat, even as fighting in southern Lebanon continues to intensify despite a renewed ceasefire extension.

An Israeli security source told Kan broadcaster that “even if we occupy all of southern Lebanon... these steps will not be able to destroy the last explosive drone or Hezbollah’s last rocket.”

The source added that “military action is not enough,” arguing that “a political breakthrough is needed, hand in hand with prolonged military deterrence.”

The comments came after Hezbollah reportedly fired around 200 projectiles at Israeli positions and troops over the weekend, according to an Israeli military official speaking to AFP.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also acknowledged the growing challenge posed by Hezbollah’s FPV drones, saying Israel is “fighting an enemy that is trying to outsmart us.”

“We are facing the challenge of neutralizing FPV drones,” Netanyahu said.
