@EraseTheHate #Hatecrimes are terrible & undesirable. It turns out though that #hatecrime (# of incidents) has actually been declining steadily in the US this century: 8k in 2000, 7.1k in 2005, 6.6k in 2010, & 5.8k in 2015 (FBI). While 5.8k #hatecrimes are unacceptable, we’ve come a long way!
