@FrenchOG3 Yeah, also - something like half of (self identified ! ) gay men also have sex with women - so they have more up front experience as well in many cases
@MarcheseMethods@FrenchOG3 There's also learned behavior
People are socialized into narcissist-like behaviors and social media are one avenue that it happens by
Also, forgive for stating the obvious, but leftists doing the "virtue signal game" during the peak woke era were all hardcore narcissists
@FrenchOG3 I'm not surprised they are making it pay for play since the company is in trouble financially
But it is darkly hilarious that they know deep down who everyone is really on there FOR, and paywall accordingly
Something weird happened to me on Bumble.
On the free version I was mostly drip fed the 35+.
Then I decided to pay for a month to see the 50+ likes I could not see.
And since then I am matching with way many more 20x yo.
Looks like they paywalled the 20x yos.
Maybe coincidental. Suspicious though.
@angeldevenganza Good comment
In 2026 habitual dishonesty is a *requirement* for worldly success
It's disgusting and I don't like it, but I didn't make the rules either
You can hardly blame men for doing what is incentivized
Just like résumé’s now
Honest resume in 2026 = you ain’t getting the job
Gotta inflate bc your competition is. If she’s not slightly disappointed by the real life product, you didn’t understand the assignment
The system is out of Nash equilibrium. Other men will inflate so you should too. In time, this will destroy IG as a resume, which is good. When systems fall into Nash spirals… the solution is to join the problem and help it fail faster
@MurrayHillGuy1 I have met some seriously Chad gay men who look like anime pretty boy villains and they have a 100% chance of stealing your girl if they want to
@estherzelda0514 I know a guy who is a pro dancer in LA
He said that the studios where they teach are majority women along with a couple of men who are too afraid to ask girls to dance
I said - "we are really doing better than LA here in the Midwest"
"Yes, much" was his response
I was shocked
I blocked Richard Banania (and his gf Hollow Earth Terf) - too much retardation in too little time
Online influencers really are a special breed of human garbage, especially the ones who are astroturfed above their native ability (which seems to be all of them now)
@RichardHanania humans are unable to consider their own well being in absolute terms - only relative to others
this is why the idea of Communism refuses to go away - because the average person doesn't want a better life - they want others to live WORSE
@dissssident Every generation has its vices
For mine it was over the top alcoholism and partying
All the guys I knew who did the stereotypical millennial "get drunk and play video games all the time" got divorced btw...
For zoomers it is gambling mania + general retardation about money
Build surplus capacity when you're not sure what the next move is:
1. Save money when you don't know what next to spend on.
2. Build relationships and invest in people when you don't know how you might need to leverage your network later.
3. Work out and stay in tip-top physical shape when you don't have a physical goal or aren't currently dating anyone.
4. Create content and build an audience (and accumulate goodwill with them) when you don't know what you want to sell yet.
5. Learn a new skill, e.g. a language, videomaking, AI, trading, etc., when you don't know what to pursue next (either as a hobby or career).
The thing is, capacity is almost always the bottleneck when the opportunity finally arrives.
When you're scrambling to gather the resources necessary to capitalize on a rare opportunity -- especially when those resources take months or years to build -- it's already too late.
The boat will have sailed by then, leaving you behind with nothing but regret and misery.
@aruvinchan I had a couple periods of time when I became isolated, once in the 2010s and again (not by choice) during Covid
It's much harder to get the social ball rolling if you have been isolated for a while
It's better not to get into that situation in the first place
