I found the book "Getting Wrecked" by @DrKimSue the most eye-opening of the semester. It focused on substance abuse in women. It highlighted history, trends, and society's failures to support these women. #nurs638policy

The core of my DNP project is improving nursing burnout, by improving a stressful and emotional component of care experienced every day in the work setting. The hope is that by minimizing the stress, staff can find joy in their work again and minimize their burnout.
