처음부터 말씀드리자면 경기 중간에 다저스 관계자가 태형이와 스탭들에게 야구공을 나눠줬는데 그 모습을 제가 보고 있으니 태형이가 저에게 직접 야구공을 건네줬어요. 제가 넘 좋아하며 계속 경기를 보는데 태형이가 먼저 저한테 “한국 분이세요?” 하고 물었고 제가 뒤돌아서 “네. 사실 저는 11년차 아미예요”라고 대답하니 태형이가 “저 아미님 얼굴 기억나요”라고 하는 거예요 ㅠㅠ
그래서 제가 “태형 이름 넣어서 만든 모자인데 선물로 줘도 될까요?” 라고 물으니 태형이가 받으면서 너무 좋아하더라고요. 그리고 태형이의 모습을 영상으로 담았습니다.

그리고 다시 경기를 보는데 태형이가 또 다시 저를 부르더니 본인이 쓰던 다저스 모자를 저에게 주는거에요 ㅠㅠ 그리고 조금 있다가 태형이와 스탭들이 자리를 떠나면서 태형이가 다시 제게 모자 고맙다고 말을 걸어 주었고, 제가 악수를 청하니 악수를 했는데 태형이가 또 허그해 주었어요 ㅠㅠ

글이 길어져 읽으시는 분들께 죄송하지만… 사실 저는 방탄이 미국에 알려지기 시작할 무렵부터, 페이스북에서부터 X로 건너 오면서 미국 시간 매주 화요일 새벽 3시에 알람을 맞춰 일어나 멤버들의 빌보드 차트를 체크하고 정리해 올리는 일을 혼자서 오래 해왔습니다.

이번 일이 오래 묵묵히 걸어온 아미의 길에 대한 격려처럼 느껴져서 감사하고 또 조심스러울 따름입니다. 지금 너무 흥분된 상태라 두서없지만, 앞으로 평생 아미로 살겠다는 다짐을 다시 한 번 이곳에 박제합니다. 영상을 찍어주시고 함께 축하해 주신 아미님들께 진심으로 감사드립니다.
