As a Luka fan, I know that he’s not a good “one on one” defender. He could be easily blown by in an iso. What the Mavs did before was to hide him and whenever he was switched and blown by, PJ, Gafford, or Lively were there to defend. This was how Dallas solved this problem.

The Lakers on the other hand don’t have these rim protections. Luka thrives with agile and athletic centers (Lively and Gafford).

If Lakers would like to fully maximize his strength and solve his only liability, they need to build a team like what he had in Dallas.
