Farm bill amendments are rolling in!

Base acreage updates (Slotkin), MCOOL -Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling (Thune) , USDA payment limits (Welch), EQIP funding restoration (Klobuchar) and codification of three Packers and Stockyards Act rules (Grassley) are among the proposals to shape the debate.

Many of these amendments have R support. The question is whether GOP senators will set aside those priorities in favor of Boozman’s push to move the bill forward being non-controversial.
