Let me tell you something I want you to know! Are you struggling or in a bad place at the moment? Coming from someone who has been to hell and back, when I fell off my bike I heard the crack of my neck breaking before my body went lifeless as my breathing weakened by the breath. I broke 4 bones in my neck, severd my spinal cord, one of my lung collapsed, had bleeds on my brain. Basically I didn't do half a job when doing it 😅
Long night's, on life support, fed through a N/G going up my nose into my stomach, flashbacks waking up in the middle of the night hearing the crack I heard when I had my accident in my sleep. I had two choices, curl up in a ball and feel sorry for myself or use my situation to help others, travel the world, get a job and live life and I think I I chose that option because I know all the shit that I have been through and the sacrifices I have had to make 🤝
My scars remind me that I did indeed survive my deepest wounds. That in itself is an accomplishment. And they bring to mind something else, too. They remind me that the damage life has inflicted on me has, in many places, left me stronger and more resilient. What hurt me in the past has actually made me better equipped to face the present, the future and the life I am living now! 👨🦽
I nearly had my life taken from me but I reminded myself every day that I didn't know how strong I was until my only option is to be strong. If I was strong enough, so are you

@josefoshea @VodafoneIrl Looked at replacing my Sky Q with Vodafone some time, but I saw that they did not allow any offline recording of most mainstream terrestrial channels (like BBC & RTE), said that they would use the cloud services used by those channels. That was a hard pass from me.
@AdamMoynihan His point was the Irish arriving at Ellis Island were "checked" and if they failed a medical they were 'put back on the ship, with most not making it back' like this would be better than welcoming people to the land of the Cead Mile Failte... 2/2
@AdamMoynihan From what I saw of this meeting (some online clips), it was pure unadulterated xenophobia. DHR comparing the situation here with Ellis Island in the 1840s and coffin ships, intimating that was a preferable system to what we have! 1/2
