Left Logic or Logic Left?

যুক্তি ছেড়ে বাম, নাকি বামেদের ছেড়ে পালিয়েছে যুক্তি?

বামপন্থীদের কয়েকটি বইয়ের স্টল ভাঙচুর করা হয়েছে। ঘটনাটি ঠিক না ভুল, কে দায়ী, কেন এমনটা ঘটল,.সেসবের বিচার নিশ্চয়ই হবে। অন্যায় হয়ে থাকলে তার প্রতিবাদও হওয়া উচিত।

তবে একটা প্রশ্ন থেকেই যায়। যাঁরা ধর্ম মানেন না, মূর্তিপুজোয় বিশ্বাস করেন না, তাঁদের দুর্গাপুজোর মণ্ডপে স্টল দেওয়ার আগ্রহের পিছনে ধর্মীয় আবেগ, নাকি রাজনৈতিক স্বার্থ....সেটাও আলোচনার বিষয় হতে পারে।

কিন্তু সবচেয়ে আশ্চর্যের বিষয় হলো, নিজেদের স্টল ভাঙচুরের ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে বামপন্থীরা এখন অভিযোগ তুলছেন, একশ্রেণির মানুষ নাকি মা সরস্বতীকে অপমান করছেন!

বাহ কমরেড! মা সরস্বতীর প্রতি এত ভক্তি কবে থেকে জাগল?

একটু পিছিয়ে যাওয়া যাক, ২০২০ সালের ফেব্রুয়ারি মাসে।

সেই সময় VHP-র স্টলে হামলা, পবিত্র শ্রীমদ্ভগবদ্গীতা পোড়ানো এবং তার ওপর দাঁড়িয়ে থাকার যে নোংরা কান্ড বামপন্থীরা ঘটিয়েছিল, সেই ঘটনাগুলো কি এত তাড়াতাড়ি ভুলে গেলে?

সেদিন পবিত্র গীতা পোড়ানোর সময় তোমাদের ধর্মীয় অনুভূতিতে আঘাত লাগেনি?

সেদিন স্বস্তিক চিহ্ন এবং পবিত্র 'ওঁ' চিহ্ন পোড়ানোর অভিযোগে হিন্দুদের বিশ্বাসের অপমান হয়নি?

নাকি কমরেড, তোমাদের অভিধানে ধর্মের অপমান তখনই হয়, যখন রাজনৈতিকভাবে তোমাদের অসুবিধা হয়?

নিজেদের বইয়ের স্টল ভাঙলে মা সরস্বতীর অপমান, অথচ অন্যের ধর্মগ্রন্থ পোড়ানোর অভিযোগ উঠলে বিপ্লবের নামে নীরবতা!

নিজেদের বেলায় মতপ্রকাশের স্বাধীনতা, আর অন্যের বিশ্বাসের বেলায় প্রগতিশীলতার মুখোশ পরে উপহাস!

এ কেমন যুক্তি? এ কেমন আদর্শ?

আসলে সমস্যাটা বামপন্থীদের যুক্তির অভাব নয়, সমস্যাটা তাঁদের সুবিধামতো যুক্তি বদলে ফেলার অভ্যাস।

মনে রেখো কমরেড, মা সরস্বতী কেবল বইয়ের দেবী নন, তিনি বিদ্যা, জ্ঞান ও বিবেকের দেবীও।

আর সেই বিবেকটাই যদি রাজনৈতিক সুবিধার কাছে বন্ধক রাখা হয়, তাহলে হাতে বই থাকলেও জ্ঞানের আলো জ্বলে না।

মানুষ সব দেখেছে, সব মনে রেখেছে।

তোমাদের এই দ্বিচারিতা, এই নির্বাচিত ধর্মীয় আবেগ, এই সুবিধাবাদী প্রতিবাদ—কোনোটাই আর মানুষের অজানা নয়।

আমার তো মনে হয়, বামপন্থীদের রাজনীতি থেকে Logic অনেক দিন আগেই Left করেছে!

What actually happened on the rooftop of the Calcutta High Court?

The Calcutta High Court ordered an inspection of its rooftop after a petition alleged that religious prayers were being held there and a mosque was being constructed.

The Registry’s inspection found no mosque, but a small room containing Islamic religious books, mattresses, chairs, fans, a cupboard and other items. The room had two locked doors.

The next question was about the keys.

According to the Registry's inquiry, the keys were in the possession of advocate Ezaz Hossain.

The judges expressed surprise that a practising advocate was holding the keys to a locked room within the High Court premises.

The Court directed him to explain how he obtained the keys and referred the matter to its Security Committee to review security arrangements and key custody.

If it were not for this petition, would the Calcutta High Court even have known what was happening on its own rooftop, who held the keys, and who had access? If anyone can hold the keys to a locked room inside the High Court, what exactly is the security system securing?

এই তালিকাটি কিছু চিন্তার উদ্রেক করে। যেমন, এঁরা নিজের দেশে এই মাপের সম্পদ সৃষ্টি করতে পারেন নি কেন, যেমন জাপানীরা বা দক্ষিণ কোরীয়ানরা করেছে? দ্বিতীয়ত, এঁরা সবাই উত্তর, পশ্চিম বা দক্ষিণ ভারতের মানুষ, অন্তত নাম শুনে যা মনে হচ্ছে। পূর্ব ভারতের মানুষের মধ্যে (সম্ভাব্য) নাম পেলাম শুধু ৩৯তম স্থানে বিপুল সিনহা (৭০০ মিলিয়ন ডলার), ১৩তম স্থানে সঞ্জয় ঝা (৪ বিলিয়ন) ও ৮ম স্থানে সঞ্জিত বিশ্বাস (৫.৭ বিলিয়ন)। আর কোন বিহারী, বাঙালি, অসমীয়া বা ওডিয়ার নাম নেই। কেন নেই?

গোটা ভারতের কথা ভাবলে খুব বেশিদূর যেতে হয় না। যুদ্ধবিধ্বস্ত জাপান, পশ্চিম জার্মানি, দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া, ইত্যাদির যখন মুক্ত বাণিজ্যের পথে সম্পদ সৃষ্টি করতে ব্যস্ত তখন আমরা সোভিয়েতের অন্ধ নকল করে ‘সমাজতান্ত্রিক ধাঁচের সমাজ’ গড়বার পরিকল্পনা করছি। শেষ হাসি হাসল ১৯৯১ সাল, যখন সোভিয়েত রাষ্ট্র বিলুপ্ত হল, আর আমরা দেশের সোনা বন্ধক দিয়ে আই এম এফ-এর কাছে ধার চাইলাম !

আর শুধু আমাদের, অর্থাৎ বাঙালি হিন্দুদের কথা ভাবি, তাহলে মনে করি দেখি, উনিশশো পঞ্চাশের দশক থেকে কি আমরা শুনিনি, “টাটা-বিড়লার কালো হাত ভেঙে দাও, গুঁড়িয়ে দাও"? সেটা এখন টাটা-বিড়লার বদলে আদানি-আম্বানি হয়েছে। কিন্তু এই যে উদ্যোগ-বিরোধিতা, যা বাঙালি হিন্দুর ডিএনএ-র মধ্যে ঢুকে এই জনগোষ্ঠীর সর্বনাশ করেছে, তা শুধরোবে কি করে?

একমাত্র উপায়, বাঙালি হিন্দুর চিন্তা ও কর্মের জগতে বামপন্থা-সমাজতন্ত্র-মার্ক্সবাদ-লেনিনবাদ-মাওবাদ ইত্যাদি শব্দবন্ধকে ঘৃণা করা, ঘৃণা করতে শেখানো। এই মুহূর্ত থেকে।
