We spent Friday with a quick trip to Basel, Switzerland. Such a charming city! Toured the Art museum and the gothic cathedral. The rain didn’t start until we were just a block away from the train station to head home. Great timing, great day. :)

Both kids are back in school this week, with the exception of wearing masks full time and rapid tests 2x a week, a large piece of normalcy has returned to our lives. :)

We can’t get to Ottawa, but Ottawa came to us! After 30 hours of snow, this wine region got 20cm of winter dream. It hasn’t snowed like this here in decades. A real Canadian treat in Southern Germany.

It snowed here today! Real, by Canadian definition, snow. The kids took the morning off home school for a walk through the vineyards and built a worthy snowman on the terrace. Our Canadian hearts are full today. ❤️ ⛄️ ❄️

First week back in school for both kiddos. So far so good! You can tell they are older and more settled here, they went back like it was nothing.
